How to Stop Pinterest Emails and Notifications - Make Pinterest.com Quit Emailing Every Re-Pin

By

Normally, I love Pinterest. If you haven't tried it, stop what you are doing and click over to it. It is a phenomenal website that combines bookmarking with photos, allows you to organize your favorite websites into fun groupings and share via social media.

I can't get enough of this site, but every now and then I create a pin that become extremely popular and people re-pin and re-pin and re-pin. For a day or two, it was fun to see emails roll in that showed all of the people who re-pinned my link, but it quickly became problematic. My most popular one was re-pinned over one hundred times, and the email notifications were clogging my inbox.

Read on for a few easy steps to stop receiving unwanted emails from Pinterest and turn off notifications.

I love this website, but the excessive emails are driving me nuts! What should you do to stop Pinterest emails?

Step Three

There are a series of options regarding your email preferences. Select and deselect the ones that suit your desires.

I did not want to receive instant notifications when people re-pinned my links, but chose to see the digest versions periodically.

Happy Pinning!

Now that the e-mail settings are fixed, go on and pin away! Do you have any special ways you organize yours?

That looks like an interesting website with an attractive graphical interface. Your hub has a good layout.

Thank you WE! It is very addicting and many people like it for the social aspects. I find tons of fun recipes and crochet patterns as well as fun Lego idea for my son. The more I use it, the better it gets. I highly recommend taking a few minutes and exploring it (after turning off the email notifications of course!)
